St. Matthews Real Estate

    St Matthews is actually its own 4th class city within the entire Louisville Metro government. This city and its neighborhoods are home to the Mall St. Matthews and the Oxmoor mall.  These malls are the 2nd and 4th largest malls in Kentucky.

    St Matthews is located within the Windy Hills, Brownsboro Village, Bellewood, and Maryhill Estates subdivisions to the north, I-264, or the Watterson expressway to the south and east and Cannons Lane to the west.

    There are so many great reasons to live in St Matthews.  For one thing, the homes there are beautiful.  Cape Cod is the most typical design.  Gorgeous tree lined streets, complete with sidewalks wind from two of the most celebrated parks in louisville to some of the best shopping in the area.

    Seneca Park borders the neighborhood of St Matthews and invites visitors to play golf, tennis and has many other activities available.  There is a wonderful playground and several walking and running paths.  From Seneca Park, a short walk down Willis Avenue brings the visitor to Shelbyville Road which is filled with every shop from wonderful eateries to the Malls and even a Dive shop.

    The price of homes for sale in St. Matthews range from the upper $160,000’s to the mid $900,000’s.  There are several subdivisions to choose from.  Oxmoor Woods and Cherokee Gardens both are high end neighborhoods that have homes valued in the upper $900,000’s.  Seneca Gardens, Norbourne Estates and Bellewood are subdivisions with homes in the mid $400,000 price range while Arlington homes are priced between $150,000 to $275,000.
